History

Date of Birth: January 26th, 1971
Home: Marlborough, Kansas City, Missouri, United States
Family: Gerry and Belinda Gramm (parents), Valerie (younger sister)
Death: Personal Tragedy (poor working-class family, Nathan stayed out of trouble by losing himself in books, and eventually got hooked into occult research; though he went to college for anthropology, he dropped out junior year to pursue rumored leads of real supernatural activity just out of town in Smithville; there he stumbled across an open battle between vampires and werewolves on the shore of Moon Lake, at the eponymous Moon Lake Bar, where he was caught in the crossfire and struck down...and used as food by a thirsty vampire), 2000
Mentor: The Magnificent Charles the Red
The Test: Trial by Wit (though he was luckily Reaped by a passing Ferryman, it was immediately discovered that he was spiritually bound to the location; the Ferryman alerted the Brotherhood of the Black Rabbit as best fitting Nathan's nature, but after guiding him through the basics, both parties decided they weren't right for each other, and he was left a freewraith)
Comrades: Spencer O’Day, Demi O'Day, Fallen Owen-Dell, Polly Benjamin
Key Event #1: Personal Tragedy (his locked locus caused him to be immediately threatened by the supernatural beings in the area that practiced necromancy; he quickly developed Arcanoi to better defend himself, thanks to both reflexive innate skill and occult savvy)
Key Event #2: War (the Giovanni vampires tried to enthrall him more than once, and finally Nathan [and his Shadow] called spectres to come and destroy the undead; other wraiths arrived to help drive the Shadow-eaten back afterwards)
Key Event #3: Awe & Wonder (Nathan forged a partnership of understanding with these other Restless, who realized his desperation; in exchange for their aid in protection, he would provide information on the Quick, and the supernatural beings among them at this popular locale)
Transition: Victory (so Nathan continued his research and observation of the occult, gathering lore and mastering Arcanoi through trial and error)

The Shadow

Appearance: Nathan's Shadow manifests as a grim and furious version of himself, pale skin darkened by inner shadow come forth

Moon Lake Bar Shed (Haunt)

Location: Smithville, Kansas City, Missouri, United States
Structure: Cabin

Traits: This is his Bound site

Significant Other

Name: Polly Benjamin, 2011
Nature: Companionship

Polly

Weakness
Locked and Bound

Nathan is stuck in this place with no evident way to escape. He is quite vulnerable here, in this place frequented by so many bad actor supernaturals, no matter how many magic spells he develops or allies he procures.

Likelihood of Corruption

High.

The Moon Lake Bar is a hot spot for Nihils and more than one local Maelstrom blew up out of the lake. That alone leaks actual material corruption onto his very doormat, so to speak.
