Death: Personal Tragedy (her parents were a mixed couple just living their life when a cult of Nezumi and Nezumi Kinfolk terrorists, not unlike Aum Shinrikyo, attacked and detonated explosives on the subway car her parents rode together; as one of the resulting orphans, hengeyokai from the nearby Court of Icerunes took pity, having outlawed that Nezumi pack; the Tengu of the court, aligned with the Gray Clouds Temple, trained her in the ways of goblin-slaying and the Shih; she became a deadly slayer of demons of all sorts for several years, then began tracking down a tragically fallen Khan, following him all the way to America; she was captured and tortured by that corrupted weretiger, then freed by a shinta demon hunter of sorts, Gakai, and she took revenge on that Khan before accompanying Gakai back to Little Asia and joining the Coalition as few other Shih had; her hunt continued until it at last ended abruptly, slain by materialized Banes), 2008

Appearance: Kianna believes she has a tighter reign on her dark side than she really does. Her judgment and slaughter of demons of all sorts feeds her P'o, even when she's careful to target only clear minions of Yomi Wan.

Kianna doesn't stare into the void. She glances into it, then drops a pouch of grenades down into it and sneers at the howls of agony as the shrapnel rips through the demons' (overrated) armored hides. Like all Shih, she's condemned to fall to Yomi one way or another. She's simply prolonged the doom.
