History

Date of Birth: May 5th, 1970
Home: Little Italy, Kansas City, Missouri, United States
Family: Lieto and Cecilia Durante (parents), Felicita (older sister)
Death: Personal Tragedy (Tony was born into a classic Mafia family in a major LCN stronghold, Kansas City; he rose through the ranks and, with his father's patronage, became a "made man" and an undercapo lieutenant; he married a pretty Italian girl, Loriana, but they never got around to having any children: not long afer his marriage, he was gunned down in his own town on the street in broad daylight by a rival gang, the Columbian cartels), 1990
Mentor: Attilano Bocchino
The Test: Trial by Knowledge (fortunately, he was Reaped by his own kind, the LCMN, and they already knew his place in the organization; once more an undercapo, he grieved for his loss and his widow, but soon adapted to this new, stranger existence; though he blamed "those damn Mexicans" for his death, he was not motivated to seek revenge)
Comrades: Rossana Scalici, David Staph, Jodi Lomauro
Key Event #1: Treachery (Tony's suave diplomatic style soon enabled the LCMN to get onto good terms with the dominant Masquers Guild, a near partnership for security and commerce of relics/oboli)
Key Event #2: Personal Tragedy (Tony proved unlucky in love; first, he had to witness his widow move on and find a new husband, which at least partially pleased him that she could still be happy; then he met a fellow spirit, a girl named Comfort, who was a talented artist if something of a country girl, but then she hopped on the Midnight Express out of town)
Transition: Shift of Purpose (fortunately, frequent travel between the interconnected necropolises of the region as an ambassador and networker kept him busy and making new friends all the time)

The Shadow

Appearance: Tony's modern enough to know racism is bad and he doesn't consider himself a real racist, certainly not like some cross-burning freak or anti-American Nazi shitbag. He just knows what he knows, what he's seen, about "those people", namely "Mexicans" and "the blacks". He has more patience for Asians, at least Chinese, Japanese, and Korean folk. Darker-skinned Asians and Southeast Asians get the same scornful treatment. And it always shows itself, etched into his features that contort into contemptuous scowls.
Trigger: Whenever one of those "coloreds" shows him disrespect or insults him (perceived or real).

Padrone's Famous Kitchen & Eatery (Haunt)

Location: Little Italy, Kansas City, Missouri, United States
Structure: House
Stock: A fine-dining restaurant that is a favorite of all the made men; he still haunts it, especially the back office area where he and the boys sometimes retreated to play poker, back in the day
Traits: Haunt 3

Artifacts & Relics

Magnum
Appearance: A big ol' Smith & Wesson Magnum .50-caliber revolver, chrome-plated and maple-gripped
Origin: Inherent

Knife
Appearance: A fine piece of cutlery
Origin: Theft

Significant Other

Name: Rossana Scalici, 2012
Nature: Companionship

Rossana

Weakness
Old School Mobster

He's a racist. Oh, he likes to think he's "not really", but he is. It's 2012 and he knows he should know better. There's a "colored" president, "colored" doctors and lawyers, and he grew up with these facts coming to fruition, not some distant Jim Crow era. But nah, Tony's got quite the learning curve ahead of him. The Dead don't take kindly to stupid judgments.

Tony's also (proudly) a chauvinist pig.

Likelihood of Corruption

High.

His bigotry is an open, running sore. It's not his main problem (isn't being dead the main problem?), but it's definitely a fatal flaw.
